The Eco-Chalet at the Redwood Sanctuary is nestled in a lovely redwood grove at the end of a short gravel road in the southern Santa Cruz mountains... one of the quietest places in the county.

The Chalet was custom built from sustainably harvested lumber from local trees and much was milled on site. Redwood, douglas fir, monterey pine, black walnut and black acacia have all been used.

The Chalet is "off-grid_ and completely powered by the sun. (see pics)

The Chalet is located on deserted Buzzard Lagoon Rd, on the Santa Rosalia Ridge. This is a fantastic area for cycling, hiking and jogging- no cars, no noise and very few other people.
